The galaxy s22 plus, s22 ultra, and Samsung s22 specs were all unveiled during Samsung’s unpacked event on February 9th. While we are discussing here the galaxy s22 ultra and s21 ultra the top of the line, and how it compares to its predecessor here.
In comparison to its predecessor, the Samsung s22 specs in ultra has a design that resembles that of the galaxy note. It has a squarer frame than the s21 ultra, curved edges, and an integrated s pen rather than merely support for one.
The camera housing on the back is likewise different from the s21 ultra, with freestanding lenses instead of housing. The Samsung s22 specs in ultra include a centrally located punch hole camera at the top of the display on the front.
The borders of the galaxy s21 ultra are rounder than those of the s22 ultra. In the upper left back corner is a rectangular camera housing with three primary lenses, a smaller lens, and a sensor and flash module.
Both gadgets are water and dust resistant to IP68 standards. The s21 ultra is compatible with the s pen however it is not included in the package. The s21 ultra has a punch hole camera at the top of the display, just like the Samsung s22 ultra.
The Samsung s22 specs in ultra feature a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ dynamic AMOLED display. There is a configurable refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz, as well as HDR10+ support. In addition, the s22 ultra has a 240Hz touch sampling rate in game mode, a vision booster, and an eye comfort shield with ai-based blue light management.
The s21 ultra, on the other hand, offers a 6.8-inch quad HD+ dynamic AMOLED display. It boasts a 120Hz variable refresh rate that ranges from 10 to 120Hz, as well as HDR10 compatibility.
Hardware and Specs:
Depending on the location, the Samsung s22 specs in ultra uses either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Exynos 2200 with AMD processor. There are several variants available, with the most basic having 8GB of ram and 128GB of storage and the most expensive having 12GB of ram and 1TB of storage. MicroSD is not supported by any of the variations.
The galaxy s22 ultra has a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, although there will be no charging cable included in the package.
Depending on the location, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 CPU powers the Samsung galaxy s21 ultra. There are 12GB or 16GB of ram options, as well as up to 512GB of storage. There isn’t a slot for a microSD card. The s21 ultra, like the new one, also features a 5000mAh battery and supports both fast and wireless charging. It, too, does not come with a charger.
The Samsung s22 specs in ultra have a quad-camera system with a 108MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and two 10MP telephoto lenses, one with an f/4.9 aperture and 10x zoom and the other with an f/2.4 aperture and 3x zoom. A 40-megapixel, f/2.2 front camera is also included.
The galaxy s21 ultra, on the other hand, has a quad-camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel main sensor with 0.8m pixels, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and laser autofocus, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (1.4m, f/2.2), and two 10-megapixel telephoto lenses, one with 1.22m, f/2.4 (3x optical) and the other with 1.22m, f/4.9 (10x optical). It also sports a selfie camera with a resolution of 40 megapixels.
On paper, there isn’t much of a difference between the galaxy s22 ultra and the galaxy s21 ultra’s camera configuration.
In comparison to the Samsung s21 ultra, the Samsung s22 specs in ultra include a makeover, a faster CPU, and a few new camera functions. The S Pen is also built-in, rather than merely supported.
Other differences include the battery capacity being the same, while the new model enables quicker charging, and the Samsung s22 specs in ultra has less ram at the top level, although it does come with a greater storage option of 1TB.
If you want to save money, the s21 ultra appears to be a good alternative, however, it does lack a few features compared to the 2022 model. If the s pen is a must-have feature for you, the s22 ultra makes sense; otherwise, you might be better off waiting.
